Our new hoodie sweatshirts came in handy on April 25th, but a little rain can't stop our hardy supporters! Habitat Newburgh was joined by over 500 people who walked for safe, decent, affordable housing, and raised $40,000 for our mission. Highlights of the day included the Adan Family Mariachi Band, as well as Voices of Hope Children's Choir, Treble in Paradise / Birds of Paradise, an original Paul Gould oil painting (won by raffle ticket holder Pat Donahue), the RE/MAX hot air balloon, Rita's Water Ice, great food and games, and Child ID safety cards created by NY Life Insurance.
Thank you to all of our friends, volunteers, and supporters! We couldn't have done it without you, and hope to see you again next year!
