77 & 81 Monument Street

In 2006, during the week of June 5-9, the Builders Association of the Hudson Valley partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh to build these two homes in 5 short days. After cleaning up and abandoned and contaminated site, months of planning and despite difficult weather, the homes were complete and dedicated on June 10th. Some may refer to this event as a miracle, but it was the hard work of the over 700 volunteers and the generosity of over 70 companies that made this event possible.
