42 E. Parmenter Street
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh is thrilled to partner with the Monroe Temple Beth 'El and the greater Jewish community of Orange County to build a home in loving memory of Mike Levine. The first Temple Build, this home will carry on the work of the former Times Herald Record Editor and community leader, turning his vision for social justice into reality.
This home, like the other Habitat houses on E. Parmenter Street, will be built to meet or exceed Energy Star standards through the use and implementation of 'green' building materials and methods - renewable bamboo flooring, high R-factor insulation, programmable thermostats, Energy Star appliances, and more.
Soon to be home to the Rosales Family, this project will be a 3-bedroom, 2-story house in a recognized historic district, complete with neighborhood pocket parks.
Please join us on April 18th, 2010 for the special dedication of Mike's House to the Faucher Family! Click here for more information.
