131 Carson Avenue

Construction has begun on the new project located at 131 Carson Avenue, sponsored by Tilcon NY. This once abandoned lot conveniently located near South Junior High School celebrated its groundbreaking on August 15th.

Tilcon NY has supported Habitat since its inception in 1999. John Cooney, Jr., President of Tilcon NY presented Habitat for Humanity with a check for $60,000 and will also be donating the concrete materials and excavation labor for 131 and 133 Carson Avenue. Tilcon is excited about beginning work on their house and Mr. Cooney described this project as a "perfect fit". Proud of their ability to contribute, they recognize that a stable and secure home allows a child to prosper academically and in life.
